Cards, community and Gengar: Magic at Nordic Card Show in Herning

Over the weekend, Tradera was a sponsor at the large-scale and well-run Nordic Card Show, this time in Herning. Tradera was responsible for the TRADEZONE, where people could sit and enjoy their hobby together and swap cards. Cards were swapped, live streamed, and several people sat down as strangers, exchanging information for the future. Tradera is gradually becoming a go-to place when it comes to buying, selling or swapping cards of all kinds, and it’s especially the buyer guarantee that allows you to trade more expensive cards with peace of mind. But as we also saw at the Nordic Card Show, it’s far from just Pokémon cards that are traded on Tradera.

Football cards in particular have become a huge hit, and Magic cards, Disney cards and many other sports cards have become hugely popular, both as a hobby and investment.Tradera was also a sponsor at the Nordic card Show in Bella Center and this time it was Herning. The tables filled up quickly and were more or less full for the rest of the day with happy families and dedicated hobbyists all enjoying their purchases and a pleasant afternoon.

Gengar in wood and goodness: Tradera and artart.dk support #CancerIsNotForChildren

On Saturday, Tradera teamed up with Peter from artart.dk, who came and carved the popular Pokémon, “Gengar”, out of a solid block of Douglas fir. You could follow the creation throughout the day, and Peter finished by painting Gengar in his usual colors. The sculpture is now up for auction on Tradera, with all proceeds going to #CancerIsNotForChildren, so please bid!

Sunday with fun, quizzes and Pokémon prizes

On Sunday, we were joined by a good friend of the house, Alexander Valeur from Hanada Cards, who together with Tradera ran a quiz for the kids (and the adults) and gave away packs of Pokémon cards to the lucky winners.
And then all Sunday you could enjoy the Gengar throne over Tradera’s TRADEZONE, and bid for a great cause. It was a fantastic weekend of cards, and we’re already looking forward to next time! Thanks to Nordic Card Show, Peter from artart.dk and Hanada Cards for helping to make the weekend a success!
